TFFC believes that every child should have access to enriching summer camp experiences. In addition to our certificated camps through the YMCA, we provide camperships for camps outside this partnership.

If you would like to apply for camp funding, please complete the form below for your coordinated camp and we will contact you. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: reimbursements for outside camps might not be dispersed until after it has been confirmed that the child has attended the camp to ensure that donor funds are used appropriately. If this would cause undo financial hardship please contact us at office@tidewaterffc.org and we will work with you.

Camp Request (Outside Partnership)

Tidewater Friends of Foster Care provides Camperships for Foster Youth to participate in summer camps outside our YMCA parternship. Camperships can be used to fund 3 (THREE) weeks of a camp of your choice up to $125 per week per child, per calendar year total (this includes costs for certificated camps). Camperships are funded on a first-come, first-serve basis within TFFC’s annual Camp budget. Submission of this form does not guarantee approval of funding and TFFC reserves the right to deny any camp requests.
